The 1 and only hotel that we fell in love with, not just because it was in one of our favorite parts of the world, but because of the simple concept the designers decided to take. Everything here is made from using recycled material. I am no “greenpeace” activist, but I do try and do my part when it comes to reducing my carbon footprint, whether that’s through recycling any plastics, bottles, food and even old clothes. Yes, I see you roll your eyes back and forth about me travelling on a plane then talking about carbon footprint. I know, I know it’s very difficult.
We stayed here during the first week of March 2016 for 5 nights and have been meaning to go back, but decided to see other parts of the world first. When you walk into this hotel it has a sense to deceive you, looks and smells just like a luxury spa. The full green plant wall feature by the entrance is a head turner alongside with everything else you are about to visually experience. There is a sense of notion that one feels a step closer to heaven whilst staying here. This sense is truly captivated by the right amount of scents in the corridors as well as not over loading the rooms with furniture or clutter.
The rooms here are definitely one to remember, clearly a work of a perfectionist. Who has thought about every detail from the key fob to the dining room table and even the plants. Words cannot do this hotel any justice, till you see and experience it for yourselves.
Also another cool focal point at ‘The One’ hotel is that they have two Tesla’s, which is available to use for hotel residents within a certain mile radius. They aren’t always available, if it’s a busy season or getting charged, but it’s a cool feature to add to a hotel that is clearly earth conscious.
